The Region Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur is located in South-East France. The agro-food sectors is a strategic sector for the regional economy. Indeed, itrepresents nearly 27000 businesses (including 22 440 farms) and about 80.000 jobs (including nearly 43000 in farms, 27000 in agri-food companies and 10000 in cosmetics companies). The Region is characterized by a highly diversified agriculture with leadership in several sectors.

The Region has identified several specialisation axis: high-quality food, natural cosmetics based on local resources, high-added value and healthy products, plant protection, natural ingredients.
