At the latest meeting of ERIAFF, members were introduced to an innovative test area for the safe operation of agricultural and forestry machinery in Tuscany. The regional initiative was presented by Elena Biagiotti on behalf of Ente Terre Regionali Toscane (ETRT), a public body under the government of the Tuscany Region.
Located at the demo farm “Tenuta di Cesa”, managed by ETRT, the initiative represents a first step towards the establishment of a Regional Centre for Safety in Agriculture. The facility includes 12 practical exercises simulating real operating conditions and aims to strengthen training and accident prevention in the sector.
